Become a Volunteer Firefighter for Parkdale Fire Department

District Demographics

Parkdale Fire District is recruiting for Volunteer Firefighters and EMT’s to help provide emergency services to citizens. The Fire District provides emergency services to over 5,200 people in the Parkdale, Mt. Hood and Dee areas. The Fire District relies primarily on volunteers willing to donate their time to help neighbors in a time of emergency.

Becoming a Volunteer Firefighter/EMT/Student

Minimum requirements for Volunteer Firefighters/EMT/Student include completing an application, attending an interview, attending about 100 hours of training and be in a physical condition to perform assigned Volunteer Firefighting tasks.

Volunteer Firefighters will receive specialty training, including practical hands-on experience and classroom lectures covering relevant topics.
